Vintage Mid Century Bentwood Steamer / Railway Travel Trunk  SOLD

Lovely old vintage bentwood Streamer / Railway Travel Trunk in good vintage condition considering its age and previous use!

M.G.T. stencilled on the side of the trunk.

Still has the original canvas covering on the outside, leather handles / clasps / metal stud work etc. Age related wear, tear and rust as to be expected. The original fabric inside is intact with no rips / tears / fraying etc however the original tidy straps have become loose or missing. Please see photos – happy to answer any questions.

The trunk itself is in good solid condition; no damage to the wood frame. The original locks do not work.

Great for decorative purposes – add some legs for a vintage coffee table or just for some extra storage!
