A seemingly quite rare mid century coffee table attributed to Poul Volther.
This sleek piece was produced by Danish manufacturer Frem Rojle, and is attributed to designer Poul Volther. It is solidly built using quality teak and the high level of workmanship you come to expect from Frem Rojle of this era.
The table has with strong, structural lines – the wide spaces and heavy glass top lend the piece a lightness which prevents it from being overbearing for the modern home.
The table is in good vintage condition, the teak grain is stunning. A great centre piece for any room. There has been a historic repair done to the underside and one main arm. This is now sturdy and barely noticeable. There are some chips in the original thick glass top and some faint scratches but nothing significant and this is reflected in the price.
