Vintage Mid Century G Plan ‘Limba’ Dressing Table SOLD
Striking early 1960’s dressing table made by G Plan as part of the Limba range. Rich honey coloured African limba wood offset against the minimalist boxed metal frame and handles. A seemingly rare dressing table from the Limba range designed in 1960 by Leslie Dandy for G plan.
The piece features 3 drawers plus a compartment for make-up etc. It combines Limba, an African hardwood, with metal legs and handles described by G plan as “champagne-silver” colour. This range was only made for a short time so is now very hard to find.
The metalwork retains its original colour. Gold G Plan stamp to one drawer and one drawer original black felt lined.
Great look with curved ‘floating’ working surface over numerous drawers and storage options. Tilt angled landscape mirror which can be removed if required. Also the original attachable lamps which although are in working condition an electrician would be advised to test for safety.
In good vintage condition, some obvious signs of general wear and tear through use and age. Please review the photos – happy to answer any questions.
