A really beautiful example of mid-century style and craftsmanship. Mid Century Cumbrae Australian walnut sideboard by Morris of Glasgow for Heals of London 1960’s. Designed by Neil Morris, this beautiful and high quality piece is a real design classic with a wide double cupboard and internal felt lined drawer. Bought new in 1964.
Both cupboards provide generous storage for dinner services, cutlery etc. With removable internal shelves.
The Lounge / living room set was designed after austerity ended in 1952, this set utilised newly available, more luxurious Austrian walnut, with sycamore handles and detailing.
In very good vintage condition with some minimal light signs of use. Cleaned and ready to go straight into your home. As with all mid century and vintage furniture there will be signs of use. Happy to answer any questions.
