The very iconic Pieff ‘Alpha’ armchair designed by Tim Bates. An excellent and recognised piece of British design history.
This armchair has been newly upholstered in cream wool boucle but keeping as many of the original fabric that we were able to save, a very solid tubular metal frame and we’ve retained the famous Pirelli webbing system support on these fabulous chairs.
The chrome is in good condition and free from and rust, so are the supports.
Retailed by Harrods and Heals, their products personify British mid century design. Quite possibly one of the most comfortable armchairs I have ever sat in!
The new cream wool upholstery has helped reimagined this iconic chair for the future and the chrome plated tubular metal frame has been gently cleaned. Please review the photos – happy to answer any questions.
