This beautifully handcrafted desk and tambour door wall mounted bureau we believe was an Apprentice / college piece of work in the 1950s. The attention to detail is amazing and we would love to know the name of the person that put this together.

A simple looking piece possibly constructed from many kinds of wood including walnut and using mortise and tenon joins on all of the angles of the desk. A large pull out drawer to hold important papers. The elegantly slim legs are sturdy in construction and have no signs of splits to the wood. The tambour door bureau is wall mounted by a simple bracket and have a removable document holder.
