A stunning early mid century set of four pine Polish Zydel dining chairs and table. Designed by Wladyslaw Wincze (1905-1992) and Olgierd Szlekys (1908-1980) for the ŁAD Cooperative in 1942. This model is exhibited at the Gallery of Polish Design of the National Museum in Warszaw. The ŁAD artists cooperative were focused on changing interior architecture at the time.
These sculptural chairs are formed from pieces of solid pine, makers marks stamped underneath. The table comes in 5 separate parts (table top, 2 sides, middle bar & 2 securing chocks) again are made from solid pine.
In excellent unrestored vintage condition with very minor wear consummate with age. Please review the photos – happy to answer any questions.
