This floor standing Morris of Glasgow teak bookcase / display cabinet is raised on a sturdy plinth and has the original four glazed sliding doors enclosing two sections of fixed shelving. Nicely proportioned and bearing the Cumbrae Range stamp, circa 1956.
The carcass of the cabinet is made from Australian Walnut. Both doors slide easily and are free from chips and significant scratches. The glass doors can be removed entirely if desired.
In fantastic vintage condition. Minimal signs of general wear through general age and use. Minimal light scratches on the original glass doors. Please review the photos – happy to answer any questions.
Morris of Glasgow supplied furniture to HM Queen Elizabeth II on her marriage and is known for excellent quality and craftsmanship.
