A very unique early 1950′ s lockable writing desk / bureau designed by Neil Morris as part of the award winning Cumbrae range of furniture for Morris of Glasgow. Made from beautifully figured walnut with a maple trim, with pull out (removable) maple desk tidy.

Perfect for a laptop / tablet, all work can be neatly tucked away at the end of the day. You can still see the iconic CC41 British Board of Trade stamp to the back of the piece which indicates that it was manufactured in between 1941 – 1952. 

In good, clean vintage condition. In sturdy condition, the lock works (and we have a key although not the original key). Please review the photos – happy to answer any questions.
