1960s Mid Century G Plan ‘Modular’ Tola Bookcase SOLD
A 1960s G Plan rarely seen modular tola bookcase / unit on a stand.
Tola or Afromosia (teak) panelled construction with a great patina that only age can bring. This unit part of the concept G Plan ‘Modular Range’ with the classic G Plan under frame / stand and adjustable shelves. The range featured tola square framed and/or ebonised bases with polished brass feet and numerous inter-changeable units. G Plan gold stamp on the back of the unit.
In very good vintage condition with minimal signs of age related wear and use, some marks on the top of the bookcase where a plant or something had been previously placed but not noticeable due to the height of the piece. Please review the photos – happy to answer any questions.
