A stunning solid afromosia teak sideboard by Richard Hornby. Manufactured by Fyne Ladye, England, 1960s from solid wood, and retailed through the renowned department stores of the time.

The design and craftsmanship on this sideboard is superb and really stands the test of time. Featuring two large cupboards with solid afrormosia adjustable shelves with four good sized drawers in the middle. 

The beautifully carved reeded drawer fronts, are a classic Hornby feature, along with the signature Hornby bevelled edge to the top. The shelves are removable if you need to store larger items.

Fyne Ladye Furniture of Banbury was one of the top contemporary furniture makers in the UK at the time, and along with others Richard Hornby was a successful designer with his own signature trademarks, such as the reeded drawers and elegant cut out handles.

In good vintage condition, some minor signs of previous use. Please review the photos – happy to answer any questions.
