Mid century Rosewood sideboard by Hornslet Mobelfabrik of Denmark; finely crafted with bookmatched grain and seamless tambour doors reveal an interior of white oak with adjustable shelves and a pull out drawer in the centre. The rosewood is in horizontal pattern on sides and gracefully wraps around to front.
With over 55cm depth, this handcrafted Danish cabinet offers ample space for storage.
Hornslet Møbelfabrik worked with a cooperative of designers such as Niels Koefoed & Kofod Larsen, and influences from these designers can be found in this piece.
The tambour doors slide open revealing ample storage space with three adjustable shelves and a shallow silverware drawer in the top of the middle. The unit has minimalist clean lines, and it is raised on rounded sturdy legs and features two roller tambour doors.
The rosewood has a beautiful grain. Stamped with the makers mark and ‘Made in Denmark’ to the rear. Circa 1970s.
In very good vintage condition. Some minimal signs of use can be found, with nothing too apparent to strike the eye. Please review the photos – happy to answer any questions.
