The four chairs were designed and made by Portwood of Stockport, Cheshire; they were renowned for their high quality workmanship. The construction although English is strongly influenced by fashionable mid-century Danish design.

The padded seats are upholstered in a typical retro brown & orange viscose. This is the original fabric; it remains in excellent condition, but have been steamed cleaned by myself. They are deceptively comfortable. Can also be easily reupholstered if required.

Condition, is good, there are no repairs to any of the chairs and there is slight wear damage in the upholstery.

These chairs are not new and although in great condition there are some minor wear consistent with overall age. The Chairs have been thoroughly cleaned and polished. Please review the photos carefully as they form part of the description happy to answer any questions that you may have.
