Pair of Vintage 1940s Art Deco Cabinets  SOLD

A fantastic vintage original pair of burr walnut cabinet of 4 drawers. Was probably originally part of a bigger dressing table / bedroom suite which was so elaborate and very much of the Art Deco period.

Fantastic attention to detail. The drawers all work well and are fully functional.

The condition of one cabinet has a missing part of the base plinth to one corner (see picture). This, although missing piece doesn’t effect how the cabinet stands and could possibly be easily rectified. The tops of the cabinets has been previously lined with cork and velcro has been added to the lip of the drawer pull out (maybe to reduce noise?). Would make excellent tall bedside cabinets, side cabinets to a living room sofa, positioned in a hallway in a vintage, period style interior. Would also work as an excellent ‘up-cycle’ project.
