Vintage / Retro Austinsuite Desk SOLD
This vintage desk by British maker Austinsuite has an eye-catching Scandinavian look to it. Its seven drawers provide lots of storage space, including the ‘hidden’ centre drawer with its built-in storage sections. A super desk for your study or home office! The sculpted feet are a stand-out feature.
Austinsuite of London were at the forefront of English mid century design creating stunning designs to rival G Plan and Ercol using beautiful and exotic woods to create highly practical and appealing pieces. The company was founded in London by four Austin brothers.
In great vintage condition, no significant damage / marks etc. But does show minor marks from previous wear and tear through age and use. One of the handles on the bottom drawer a part has previously broken away but this doesn’t effect use or effect the look of the piece. Please review the photos – happy to answer any questions.
