Vintage 1950s Mid Century Alfred Cox Dressing Table / Desk SOLD
A beautifully designed and made 1950s walnut dressing table manufactured by the renowned and highly collectible cabinet maker Alfred Cox of Great Britain and retailed through Heals of London.
Crafted from premium cuts of beautifully figured walnut and maple. Plenty of storage space with 1 large lower drawer and 3 nicely sized upper drawers. An outstanding piece of furniture with removable mirror so this piece could also be used as a occasional desk or console table in your hallway.
Featuring 4 drawers, in total 3 over 1 large bottom drawer. Stunning walnut veneers, elegant sculpted handles and the classic Alfred Cox splayed leg base. A large tilting mirror with swooping curved top (currently removed in the pictures but in full working order).
A stunning dressing table that would bring a touch of classic mid century style to any interior space.
Currently in unrestored condition, there are some patches of fading, marks through age and use etc. Please review the photos – happy to answer any questions.
