A beautifully designed and crafted teak ‘Dunvegan’ sideboard designed by Tom Robertson and manufactured by A.H. McIntosh of Kirkaldy, Scotland. Circa 1960s. The classic Mcintosh design, very collectable and desirable.
One large shelved double opening cupboard in the centre, a drop down drinks cabinet with slide out serving tray to the right and three good sized drawers to the left. The legs have the original adjustable feet in place.
This functional piece offers ample double cupboard storage, with fitted shelves, a fitted cutlery draw and two further drawers. All of the drawers move smoothly, the cabinets hinges all run smoothly too, the piece as been very well looked after.
A very desirable piece, in superb clean but unrestored condition, there may be some minor marks and scratches as to be expected for its age. As with all mid century and vintage furniture there will be very slight signs of use. This piece is in very clean original condition. No significant marks or signs of any damage. One small piece of veneer is missing from the front of the first door at the bottom but barely noticeable unless you’re looking. Please review the photos – happy to answer any questions.
