A seemingly rare and very handsome piece from G Plan ‘Brasilia’ range which were produced from 1964 – 1972. A much rarer design than the ‘Fresco’, and I think more stylish!
An expertly proportioned piece constructed from teak with contrasting solid afromosia detailing. Featuring two drawers, a drop down bar and large shelved cupboard to the right offering plenty of storage for all your booze and related glass wear and accessories! Featuring the ‘Brasilia’ Range solid afromosia swooping base and scalloped handles.
In original, unrestored vintage condition. The two drawers slide with ease and the interior wood is in clean, tidy order. The top drawer is felt-lined and has sections for cutlery. The drop-down door drinks cabinet features a curved shelf with interior wood in clean, tidy order. The hinges and closures here are in good, working order too. The large two door cabinet features two height adjustable shelves. Again, the interior wood is clean and tidy, and the closures and handles in excellent order. There are some very minor scuffs and marks in line with its age and purpose, but these are not particularly noticeable with nothing to call out. The original gold E Gomme stamp can be seen in the bottom drawer.
