1950s Vintage Chest Of Drawers  SOLD

Beautiful mid century vintage chest of drawers with an art deco feel. The stylised crafted ‘waffle’ effect of the top drawer and brassed cup handles reflects the mid century feel to this oak veneered graduating chest of five drawers.

Standing on dansette style legs, all the drawers are internally clean and move well. Marks and scratches on the top of the chest as to be expected for a piece of this age.

Despite its age, this Chest of drawers was built to last. It is a solid chest of drawers with beautiful dovetail joints which demonstrate the quality of furniture made in this era.

The drawer fronts have been cleaned back and then finished off with beeswax which highlights the grain in the oak veneer.
