A Trio of Vintage Retro G PLAN ‘Form Five’ Range Wall Units SOLD
A trio of G Plan Form Five teak wall units dating from 1967. A part of the interlocking “Form Five’ Range designed by Richard Bennett; so although individual units they can be interlocked to each other for a smoother / larger unit to spread across a wall.
One unit has a base section with a double sliding door cupboard and a single adjustable / removable wooden shelf – perfect height for vinyl record storage. The door opening mechanism is quite unique as one door simply slides behind the other door. Above is a basic shelving system with a double door cupboard above.
The centre unit has a basic desk top drawer with internal wooden divider and a purple velvet lined half and open adjustable shelving above.
The final unit as well as having a sliding door base unit also has a drop down bureau cupboard and a double opening top cupboard.
The top sections rest on each base section so can be easily removed.
Quite minimalist and modern in its design, displaying a clear Danish influence that G Plan loved!
All three wall units are in good overall condition with no damage and just a few signs of cosmetic wear consistent with general use and age. Please review the photos – happy to answer any questions.
