Danish Mid Century Vintage Clausen & Søn Sideboard for Silkeborg SOLD
A beautiful sideboard, with a beautiful blond grain. Original makers label on the back.
This sideboard is beautifully made with superb joinery detail by Clausen & Søn, Denmark for Silkeborg. The design is simple and elegant, two cupboard doors run smoothly across the width of the sideboard to allow easy access to storage with an interior shelf to each which is adjustable to 3 positions. A middle bank of 4 dovetailed drawers that run as they should with the top drawer having the original green felt lining.
Beautiful patina, and has been well cared for and ready for another 60 years. Original handles are all perfect.
Fitted with the quality black hairpin legs.
This sideboard has been cleaned and lightly polished ready for use. There is a faded section to the back left of the top where the original upper unit was positioned. The front of the sideboard is in outstanding condition. Please review the photos – happy to answer any questions.
