Mid Century Arne Vodder for H P Hansen Vintage Danish Sideboard SOLD

This is a large, statement piece. A beautifully crafted bow fronted sideboard by Danish designer Arne Vodder, circa 1960s. The sideboard is in original, one owner from new, vintage condition and comes complete with stylish 88 piece (setting for eight) cutlery set by ‘Dana’ purchased at the same time. The cabinet doors slide effortlessly and the drinks cabinet (to the left) is backed by a rippled mirror and rosewood interior shelving. This model has many storage spaces, including a 4 drawers unit. It has all the very popular features of Scandinavian design: tapered wooden legs, handles with organic contours and high quality craftsmanship.

Dana cutlery set was produced by the Copenhagen Spoon Factory under their silver plate trade mark of DANA. The markings to the back include the Danish quality torch mark for excellence in silver plate which dates the production of this set post 1932. This set would date to around 1960.

There are minimal signs of general wear and tear as to be expected for a piece of this age. With original keys.
