Mid Century Late 1950’s Teak Effect Cocktail Cabinet By George Serlin and Sons SOLD
This teak cocktail cabinet was manufactured by Sureline in the late 1950’s.
The top cantilever section opens to reveal a mirrored interior with an interior light fitting. The light in the top section is working and illuminates automatically when the top cocktail cabinet section is opened. The original plug and wiring are still present but in working order however a qualified electrical should check the safety if not to be re-wired.
Below is a cupboard section with a mid-height shelf. These sliding doors once opened reveal plenty of storage for bottles etc.
This retro cabinet features wooden styled square handles.
The piece is in very good vintage condition, the cantilever section functions smoothly, is complete with the original cocktail sticks, the mirror sections are free from cracks or chips, however minimal fixing around the edge of the mirror due to age.
Sitting on a hidden original castors to be able to move the cabinet easily between and around rooms!
The cabinet is in good vintage condition – age related wear and tear evident but nothing of any significant damage. Please review all photos – happy to answer any questions. The cabinet has been cleaned and polished ready to go straight into your home.
