Mid Century Richard Hornby Drinks Cabinet / Vintage Home Bar SOLD
Beautifully minimalist and rarely available drinks cabinet / bar designed by British designer Richard Hornby in the 1960s. This cabinet would of originally retailed through Harrods and Heals.
Superb craftsmanship, carved from solid Aformosia hardwood with Hornby trademark recessed handles, a fin-like top lip and elegant tapered legs with a gently bowed crossbar.
Inside this drinks cabinet is a spacious interior with a 20cm deep shelf for glasses and an beige coloured laminate base for bottles and drink preparation. The back is veneered in the same wood so it can be used as a free-standing unit.
Perfect as a statement piece for any modern or mid century inspired interior.
In good unrestored vintage condition. Wear and tear marks consistent with age and general use. Structurally sturdy and no signs of wood worm. Please review the photos – happy to answer any questions.
