A lovely piece if mid century design from the 1960s designed by John & Sylvia Reid for Stag Furniture.
The chest has sleek integrated drawer pulls that add to the elegant, neat and contemporary design to this iconic piece of the 1960s Stag Furniture range.
A simple yet practical much sought after chest of drawers.
In good sturdy, vintage condition with a few general marks in relation to general age related wear and tear. Please review the photos – happy to answer any questions. The drawers have had a clean and the old varnish removed and refinished with Feddes finishes.
Originally designed as part of a modular bedroom system intended for young forward thinking homes in the 1950s, the ‘C’ range was finished in either oak or Australian walnut (this piece being in walnut with ebonised detailing).
