Mid Century Vintage 1960s Ceramic Tile Coffee Table by Juliette Belarti SOLD
Beautifully crafted chrome and ceramic tile coffee table by French designer Juliette Belarti, circa 1960s/1970s. This nicely proportioned coffee / occasional table features an eye catching top decorated using square mustard coloured tiles with a striking abstract red, yellow, blue contrast spiral effect.
These tiles have been embellished with a ceramic glaze.
The tiled surface is encased in teak and is supported by a chrome and teak base.
This eye-catching piece would be a great addition as part of a classic or contemporary living room.
In good vintage condition. Wear consistent with age and use. Surfaces scratches to tile and hairline crack which is not very noticeable, and a small piece of the ceramic missing (see photo). Minimal scratching to teak stretcher and mild oxidization to chrome. Please review the photos – happy to answer any questions.
