Mid Century Vintage Alfred Cox Highboard SOLDA fantastic and high quality piece from top end mid century designer and British manufacture Alfred Cox. In teak veneer and originally retailed through Heals of London in the 1960s; this sideboard is a real stand out piece of quality design and functionality.
It stands on four elegantly tapered legs and comprises of a bank of two long drawers (top drawer with original teak dividers) to the side of a small single cupboard. These sit below a further three cupboards above, including a drop down ‘drinks’ cupboard. Cupboards have internal adjustable shelves. The legs are fixed underneath the unit.
The drawers and cupboard doors are finished with slender finger pulls, that complete the sleek look. Decorated on the back so could also stand alone as a room divider.
In very good, clean vintage condition, however as with all mid century and vintage furniture there will be minimal signs of general use and age.
