Mid Century Vintage Long Teak Sideboard By White & Newton Ltd Portsmouth SOLD

This large, sleek teak sideboard from the British Mid Century makers White and Newton of Portsmouth were on the cutting edge of furniture design and production in throughout the mid 20th century.
Under the design direction of Arthur Edwards, the firm produced stunning high end furniture often defined by its clean modern lines and stark linear form.
With a beautiful maple interior and framework together with the darker teak oval handles.
Four top drawers far right having a green lined felt and wooded dividers. Two cupboards with internal shelves, either side of two drop down cupboards. Inside the cabinet is just as handsome with an unusual sliding bottle holder and interior drawer / tray, both lined with black vinyl.
Decorated on both sides so able to stand independently as a room divider.
Would make a great addition to any vintage / mid-century inspired interior.
This sideboard is in amazing vintage condition; both inside and outside there is barely a mark on it! Please review the photos – happy to answer any questions.
