Mid Century Vintage Teak Bookcase By IB Kofod Larsen for G Plan SOLD
A Danish influenced mid century teak open bookcase by IB Kofod Larsen For G Plan. A stunning and very useful open bookcase. Designed by the Danish designer IB Kofod Larsen for G Plan’s famous Danish range and dates from the 1960’s.
This range was stylish and more expensive than standard G Plan pieces and was not sold in big numbers.
The two shelves are adjustable in height, the top shelf bears the G Plan Danish Ib Kofod Larsen gold stamp to the underside. The bookcase is also decorated on both sides (rather than plywood) so can be used as a free standing room divider if you choose. A really adaptable piece of quality craftsmanship which would suit both a vintage-inspired or contemporary interior.
In bookcase is in good sturdy vintage condition and has been given a light clean. There are some wear and tear marks as to be expected after more than 50 years of use but no obvious marks or scratches. Please review the photos – happy to answer any questions
