A mid century set of six teak original black faux leather / vinyl dining chairs by Arne Hovmand Olsen for Mogens Kold and a extending dining table, 1960s.

In very good vintage original condition – the chairs show some minor some signs of age related cosmetic wear to the frames, slight scuffing to vinyl on the side of one chair. The table is again in excellent unrestored condition. Please review the photos – happy to answer any questions.

In the UK, Danish contemporary furniture was its most popular from around 1957 to 1968 and Mogens Kold along with France + Son was one of the most successful suppliers of quality furniture to the UK market. Most of the pieces we see in the UK today will have been bought new by well off British buyers at a time when the British economy was at it’s strongest.
