Vintage 1950’s G Plan Dressing Table Mid-Century Bedroom SOLD
A stunning piece of Mid Century furniture – a dressing table from G Plan. The chest was introduced in September 1956 after the Brandon range of 1953.
The dressing table consists of two hand crafted drawers with each one having superb dove tail jointing and offering great storage. Having circular brass pull handles. One full length adjustable mirror and glass shelving.
The chest comes from the Chinese White G Plan range.
The cabinet is made of light oak with the two drawers lacquered in Chinese White.
Within the top drawer there are two dividers that form three separate storage compartments with black velvet biaze with the gold embossed logo of E Gomme and G Plan stamp in the centre.
The dressing table is a wonderful piece of early G Plan with a fabulous colour.
And great to find a more unusual piece of early G Plan furniture that would suit any home or environment.
