Launched by G Plan in 1962 and advertised as the World’s Most Comfortable Armchair, the 6250 swivel chair has become an iconic design. Featuring many memorable films. Today it’s recognised as one of the great pieces of modern mid century furniture and, unusually for an icon, it’s extremely comfortable.
This chair from the original period of manufacture retains its first vinyl upholstery and natural rubber cushion; both in great condition. It tilts and swivels, resting on its original four solid rosewood legs and castors. The Gold G Plan Stamp is still present on the underside. All buttons are present in the back of the chair.
In good vintage condition. It does show slight signs of wear. There is some scuffing to the back in a few places. Please review the phots – happy to answer any questions.
