Vintage 1960s White & Newton Teak Sideboard SOLD
A beautifully simplistic teak sideboard designed & manufactured by White & Newton of Portsmouth circa 1960s.
Minimalistic clean lines with slim linear handles, two sliding doors and beech lined interior. An impressive design, way ahead of its time!
One large shelved cupboard with a fixed internal shelf, accessed via the sliding doors making it ideal for use as a TV/Media unit. The a bank of three drawers to the side of the cupboards, top drawer half lined with felt with internal dividers. The label is missing but there is a W & N stamped on the reverse.
A very desirable piece, in good vintage condition. There are a few marks consistent with age and use. A historic repair to the bottom drawer handle but this is solid and doesn’t effect use. Please review the photos – happy to answer any questions.
