Vintage Mid Century 1950s Chest of Drawers / Dressing Chest / Tallboy on Legs SOLD
A stunning oak and oak veneer 1950s space age inspired Chest of Drawers / Dressing Chest / Tallboy on black atomic style legs.
The style is very reminiscent of a range from British manufactures Limelight but no makers label present.
The drawer fronts have pale oak finish and tapering, brassed pull handles and sitting on ebonised style legs. There is also a separate curved rectangle mirror which was originally attached to the back (no photos).
The chest of drawers are in good unrestored condition with very minor signs of use as expected due to age. I have given the chest a light clean and all the drawers are internally clean and run smooth. Structurally sound and sturdy. Please review the photos – happy to answer any questions.
Overall this is a great find and will be a fabulous addition to any stylish Retro Mid Century environment!
