Vintage Mid Century 1960s Austinsuite Teak Sideboard SOLD
By British manufacturer Austin Suite. F Austin was a well respected British manufacturer. They made teak and afromosia furniture in the 1950s / 1960s to a ‘new modern’ design. This is a stunning teak sideboard by British brand Austinsuite. This has a very strong danish influenced design and a minimal clean look.
The sideboard has very nice teak veneers with the top showing a more grainy pattern. This sideboard has cupboards at either end and bank of three central drawers all with stunning sculpted handles made from solid wood. The stunning grab handles and the unusual pedestal type legs along with the minimal design give this sideboard a striking look.
Overall this is a stunning true mid century item that would fit perfectly into a contemporary or retro designed home. Would also make stunning tv or media unit

A lovely three drawer teak unit with the classic Austinsuite red felt lined top drawer with cutlery dividers and with a cupboard either side with an internal shelf. Great sculpted teak oval handles and elegant ‘slim’ legs.
