Vintage Mid Century Danish Secretaire By Johannes Sorth For Bornholms Møbelfabrik 1960s SOLD
A truly fantastic mid century secretaire / bureau / bookcase made from teak and was designed in the 1960s by Johannes Sorth for Bornholms Møbelfabrik.
A freestanding piece on a sturdy base with 2 upper shelves over a tambour door compartment revealing hidden storage for smaller items and documents.
The secretaire features three large drawers, a pull-out desktop above the drawers (with a depth of 60cm), storage space and three small drawers behind two sliding doors and three horizontal pigeon holes/shelves.
The pull out desk is at a perfect height for sitting when using a laptop / tablet.
A stunning teak grain and structurally sound with no wobbles to the frame or legs. Minimal wear and tear as to be expected with any vintage item. Please review the photos – happy to answer any questions.
