Vintage Retro Late 20th Century Habitat Dining Table & 6 Chairs SOLD
A lovely dining table & six vintage Danish Habitat chairs from their 1977/78 ‘Faeroe’ range.
Simple black frames in beech wood with paper-cord seats. A rectangular extending table, which a central extension leaf (which is stored underneath the table) and seats up to 8 people.
The table is veneered in crown cut ash. With a solid beech frame and legs. The six dining chairs are beech framed and woven cord.
The range was designed and manufactured in Denmark especially for Habitat in the 1970s and still wouldn’t look out of place in a modern styled home.
In good vintage condition with minimal cosmetic scuffs and marks to the frames and cord seats as to be expected with age. The table and frames of the chairs are structurally sound. On two chairs the paper cord is slightly worn, broken in some places which is only visible on close inspection and doesn’t affect use. Please review the photos – happy to answer any questions.
