Vintage Retro Mid Century Original G Plan Chest of Drawers Tallboy SOLD
This chest of drawers was manufactured in the United Kingdom by E-Gomme / G Plan in the 1950s.
It is made from oak, with grey fronted drawers and black ebonized legs.
It features seven slightly graduated drawers with brass handles and is set on a raised base with adjustable brass feet.
The chest / Tallboy is in good vintage condition. Structurally it is very strong with no loose joints or wobbles. There is wear to the runners of the drawers through 60+ years of general use – but still fully useable.
The original brass handles, feet and feet caps are all still attached.
