SOLD

Vintage ‘Summa’ teak modular stacking storage unit designed by Sir Terence Conran, comprising three units either with drawers, shelves or slides.

These Sir Terence Conran modular units fit into an ever interchangeable wider system and don’t seem to come to the market very often. Teak units with a white pull out drawer over 3 drawers. Covered with one solid piece of teak, creating a practical desk system.

This storage unit formed part of the ‘Summa’ range of flat pack furniture that was designed in the 1950s and 1960s.

Sir Terence Conran is synonymous with the development and styling of British design since the early 1950s. This storage unit formed part of the ‘Summa’ range of flat pack furniture that was designed in the 1950s and 1960s. A similar unit was illustrated in ‘The Way We Live Now’ Exhibition to mark Conran’s 80th birthday at The Design Museum in London.

In very good vintage condition with a few age related bumps and marks commensurate with age. There are a few light surface scratches. Please review the photos – happy to answer any questions.
