A beautifully made, very stylish and extremely practical vintage chest of drawers in Walnut, designed by Arthur Edwards for White & Newton of Portsmouth. It dates from the early 1960’s, we have cleaned and stripped and re-finished back to very acceptable standard.
Lovely shaped drawer handles, reeded detail to the top drawer and a solid base.
This chest of seven drawers has great proportions, it’s tall and slim, with loads of storage space.
In good restored vintage condition, the drawers have been sensitively stripped and refinished, the drawer runners have also been repaired so that they now run smoothly and stay in line. There are still signs of age and use consistent with general wear and tear. Please review the photos – happy to answer any questions.
